Organic soil, browning, and food or beverage stains can leave carpet looking dull even after routine cleaning. Releasit Encap-HydrOx combines active hydrogen peroxide with an acidic encapsulation detergent to clean these problem soils and naturally brighten carpet colors. It gives lighter-colored carpet the color pop that makes a finished job stand out.

  • Cleans organic and protein-based soil: Encap-HydrOx tackles coffee, red wine, urine, juice, chocolate, food stains, browning, ice melt residue, and other difficult soil conditions. It also helps neutralize many odors naturally.
  • Naturally brightens carpet colors: The active hydrogen peroxide helps revive the appearance of dull carpet and produces noticeable color pop, especially on lighter colors.
  • Makes about 14–17 total ready-to-use gallons: At the shampoo and encapsulation dilution of 8–10 ounces per gallon of water, one gallon of concentrate makes approximately 14–17 gallons of ready-to-use solution.
  • Leaves no sticky residue behind: CRYSTALON-hp captures soil and dries to a crystallized residue that can be removed through normal routine vacuuming. The non-sticky residue will not attract additional soil.
  • Handles seven carpet-care applications: Use Encap-HydrOx for encapsulation shampooing, bonnet or pad cleaning, hot water extraction, protein spot removal, traffic-lane cleaning, browning and ice melt treatment, or upholstery cleaning.

Shampoo or encapsulation cleaning: Shake well before using. Mix 8–10 ounces of Encap-HydrOx per gallon of hot water. Scrub the carpet thoroughly with overlapping passes using an appropriate carpet scrubber.

Traffic-lane pre-spray: Mix 12 ounces per gallon of water. Apply with a coarse-tip sprayer and allow 5–10 minutes of dwell time before cleaning.

Hot water extraction: For portable extractors, mix 1–2 ounces per gallon of water. For truckmount extraction, mix 1 quart per 5 gallons of stock solution.

Protein spot removal: Mix one part Encap-HydrOx with three parts water. Apply the mixture liberally to the spot and allow 5–10 minutes of dwell time. Blot with a towel. Rinsing is not normally required.

Browning treatment: Mix 20 ounces per gallon of water and spray the affected area thoroughly. Allow 10 minutes of dwell time. Clean using minimal moisture and dry the area quickly.

Upholstery cleaning: Mix 8–10 ounces per gallon of hot water. Apply evenly with a coarse-tip sprayer. Gently brush the fabric with a horsehair brush or similar soft-bristle brush, then towel off the upholstery.

Encap-HydrOx has a concentrate pH of 3 ± 0.5 and a fresh citrus scent. Always test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area before cleaning. Store the product in a cool, dark place and periodically release built-up air from the jug.

For carpet affected by organic soil, browning, ice melt, stains, or odors, Encap-HydrOx cleans the problem and helps the carpet’s natural color show again—without leaving a sticky soil-attracting residue.

Your product helped, but there is still a brown tint to my white carpet. I used 2oz to 1 gallon in my carpet cleaning machine. Could I increase the ratio? Perhaps that would clean better?

Store owner replied: Hi Victoria, You could attempt it again using Encap-HydrOx as a Pre-Spray (prior to cleaning with your machine). Here are the instructions from the label... TRAFFIC LANE PRE-SPRAY: Mix Encap-HydrOx at 12 oz per gallon. Apply with a sprayer using a coarse spray tip. Allow 5-10 minutes of dwell time. HOT WATER EXTRACTION: For Portable Extractors, mix Encap-HydrOx at 1-2 oz per gal. That may help. Though some stubborn stains can't be resolved. However, Encap-HydrOx typically does a great job knocking out carpet browning. If you need further help you can also call us at 800-330-1888. Wishing you success!

I wish I could make a Raving report about the Encap - Hydrox, like so many others have, because I really wanted this product to fix my rug stain! I'll be the first to admit user error could be a factor, so I tried to make my rating as neutral as possible by giving it a 3 out of 5 stars, instead of negative like a 1 or a 2. If anyone has suggestions for how I might try again, I'd love the assist.

If I put the solution on a mess that just happened it cleaned everything well, if I waited or tryed to clean a stain they just did not seem to fully come out of the carpet, maybe I am using it wrong, i used a 1 to 8 mix ratio into a squirt bottle and sprayed the area that needed cleaned and I waited 10 minutes before running the floor scrubber.

Does not work for salt stains very well I live in a climate where it snows frequently in the winter. I purchased this because the description said it was good for fighting salt/calcium chloride stains via encapsulation method....simply put it does not work for this application. I followed the steps exactly from the blog and the salt stains returned after drying...they were lighter than before slightly, but still there and still didn't look good nonetheless. It worked ok with HWE, but still left browning, and not to the standards that my clients expect. I recommend using Punch instead, it worked on salt stains for both encapsulation and HWE, very well I might add. Just trying to save someone the headache I had to go through with trying to figure out what solution to use for salt stains.
