I’m Rick Gelinas, founder of Excellent Supply and Releasit. I started a commercial cleaning business in 1982, and like most cleaners, I was always looking for better ways to get the work done. That search led me to low-moisture carpet cleaning and eventually to pairing crystallizing chemistry with the Cimex machine. The results changed the way we approached commercial carpet care and showed us how efficient encapsulation cleaning could be. That experience later led us to work with chemists to develop Releasit encapsulation detergents.
Sharing What We Learned
When we founded Excellent Supply in 2003, the goal was never just to sell products. We wanted to help other commercial carpet cleaners benefit from what we had learned in the field. That is still what drives us today. We help cleaners choose practical equipment, use encapsulation more effectively, improve production, and avoid unnecessary trial and error.
