AkwaStrip Chemical Free Floor Stripping Pads

Chemical-Free Stripping Pads: Can be used with or without traditional floor stripper. It's possible to strip some floors using water alone. Clean, scrub, and strip hard surface floors. Remove wax (floor finish) and other types of coatings from Wood, Parquet, PVC, VCT, Linoleum, Laminate, and more.

These pads are ideal for stripping wood floors since they are less aggressive than traditional floor stripping pads. Although they're "less aggressive", they still strip floors extremely well. In fact, many floors can be stripped using just water. Floors can be stripped with less moisture too. And when stripping a wood floor in particular, using less water is always a good idea!

Pair the Akwastrip pads with Basic Coating's Dissolver stripper and you can achieve excellent results stripping acrylic floor finish from wood flooring.

Note For Optimal Performance: We recommend applying a FiberPlus pad to your pad driver first, and then apply the Akwastrip pad to the FiberPlus pad. The FiberPlus pad will provide a sufficient grip surface to hold the Akwastrip pad. The FiberPlus pad will help  protect the thin Akwastrip pad from pad driver damage. And it will also help the Akwastrip pad to flow over any uneven surfaces of the floor.
